The film follows Dave Mead for a weekend at the Wellfleet Drive-In, as he operates the original 1950s-vintage projectors and talks about his craft.
After graduating from the College of William and Mary with a degree in Government, Scott Norwood chose to eschew politics and instead returned to his native Boston to work in IT. As a hobby, he has been involved with film exhibition for the last decade and a half, booking films for theatres and providing film and video projection and sound services for various film festivals and events. As a self-taught filmmaker, he sought to document the craft of film projection in his first short film, "The Exhibitor."
